Hey dude, I am in you boat. I am having mai finding it and have a couple questions for you if you dont mind. Right now I am trying to determine which drivers to use for my video card. I would uninstall the drivers from the “add Remove Software” section in the control panel. Thank you so much.
It has done this 3 times now. So I am tring to find an archieved nvidia driver to fit it. With XP it may be necessary to use a utility such as Detonator Please login or ns-8891. Im afraid to install directx9 since the card does not support it. The driver shows up in the control panel with the right information but just says device cant be started.
Try exchanging the card where you purchased it from, sounds like somethings gone bad. Same Card, Works great.

Hello, Any help would be useful. XP has a strange way of replacing drivers on it’s own after rebooting without you being able to stop it. Msk that card have VIVO compatibilities?
Heck, this card isn’t even listed in MSI’s product listing. I even did a fresh md-8891 and reinstall of the os this weekend to enure I had no OS problems. It only supports 8. Have you tried the Detonators at nvidia?

Also last resort could be windows update I have done that without any problems. My old ATI video card works fine with no problems. After rebooting the system when the card fails it ms-889 that the card cant be started.
Where did you buy it? It hasnt ms-88991 the drivers when I reboot, it just says the device cannot be started. I have removed it and reinstalled it, I have tried to find updated drivers on the MSI website but the site cant find a match for this card. I think I might take this video card back.
